Rosedale Playschool’s COVID-19 Protocols
In response to COVID-19, we have put a number of added health and safety procedures in place at our Playschool.
While specific protocols may be required by licensing and government bodies, the following outlines our commitment to keeping our students, staff, and families safe.
Upon arrival, the parent/careiver/volunteer/staff member will be asked if they or their children have any COVID-19 symptoms.
Temperatures will be checked for all people entering the classroom.
2. Hand Washing
Children, staff, and volunteers will wash their hands upon entering the classroom and regularly throughout the class.
3. Physical Distancing
Group activities between children will be limited.
No unnecessary visitors will be allowed inside the Playschool.
Enhanced cleaning, sanitation, and disinfection of the Playschool is in place.
Frequently touched surfaces (ex. Table tops, toys, and blocks) will be cleaned and disinfected between all classes.
Staff have been provided additional training specific to the new protocols provided by the Government of Alberta.
Training will be ongoing as guidelines change and evolve.
6. Our Commitment
We will continue to consult with experts in public health, regional ministries and licensing authorities to ensure that we are taking every step to protect the children and staff in our Playschool.
Please refer to our Health Policy in the Parent Manual for more details on our health and wellness policies in relation to Covid-19.
Our policy is subject to changes based on guidelines from the Government of Alberta.
