Class Options

3 Year Old Morning Class (Tues/Thurs 8:45am-11:45am)

This class is designed to introduce children to the routines of school.

Through play, the program also encourages the children to become active in their own learning and developmental journey. They will learn how to appropriately engage with their peers, the people and world around them, ask questions and seek out answers, and start the process of learning problem solving skills.

There are 18 spots in the class. Children need to be 3 years old by December 31st. Children must be toilet trained.

4 Year Old Morning Class (MWF 8:45am-11:45am)

This class is designed to build on foundations laid in the 3 year old program. Having completed the 3 year old program is not a requirement to register.

This class explores topics on a deeper level with short-term and long-term projects. The children are provoked through our centers to ask more complex questions and seek out further knowledge and answers. They will continue on their journey to learn more about their world, how to work through conflict, failure, and problem solve. Of course, they will do this while playing and having fun!

There are 22 spots in the class. Children need to be 4 years old by December 31st. Children must be toilet trained.

4/5 Year Old Blended Afternoon Class (Mon-Thurs 1:00pm-4:00pm)

This class is designed to accommodate the needs of both pre-k and kindergarten aged children.

This class is unique, as it is designed to encourage a great learning environment where children can learn from their peers of various ages and offer great leadership opportunities for the children. As with our other classes, children are encouraged to be participants and co-constructors in their own learning and development.

The special aspect of this almost full week program is that the children and educators will be able to develop a curriculum that can be built upon each day which provides opportunities for long-term projects and deepening children’s connections to their learning and their environment. They will learn about their world, how to work through conflict, failure, and develop critical thinking skills.  There will be a strong focus on nature, being outside and connecting children to the land. Some of the classes will be entirely outside and may require a bit of walking. This class is a great option for children who like to explore outdoors.

This is an afternoon program that runs Monday-Thursday afternoons. Four-year-old children need to be 4 years old by September 1st and cannot be enrolled in the morning class. Children must be toilet trained.

There are 6 spots available in our afternoon class.
